Terry W. Williams
A long-time resident of Del Mar, California, Terry W. Williams graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Biology, and the University of California at Irvine, with a PhD in molecular biology/biochemistry. He has worked in academic, clinical, and biotechnology research in the areas of immunology and cancer immunotherapy, and currently works in clinical/regulatory writing for the biopharma industries.
With interests in photography, graphic art, and web design, Terry has created numerous graphic design works for book covers, posters, and websites.
Terry has published several books, including “Biosphere” - a multimedia iBook about the biosphere; “The Number” - a futuristic short story about society becoming controlled by social media; “Dog Beach Del Mar: A Photo Journey” - a photo book that captures dogs and their owners at the famous dog beach in southern California; “Hummingbirds: Up Close” - a photo book published in 2021 with close-up, fast exposure images of hummingbirds.
Terry strongly supports the important work of the Audubon Society in their efforts to protect and conserve birds.
Equipment used: principal photography with the Sony RX10 Mark IIV camera, and additional photography with the Sony A99 and A77 cameras.
